Tekes / Skene – Games Refueled Game industry is the fastest growing branch of the entertainment industry and financially Finland's most significant field of cultural export. In 2011, the industry was globally worth approximately USD 65 billion and shows a strong upward trend, especially because of mobile gaming. Tekes' Skene – Games Refueled programme aims to strengthen Finland's position as hotspot for gaming and entertainment industry. Skene offers funding, business development sparring, matchmaking services for meeting foreign gaming companies, publishers and investors, networking and market surveys. The extent of the Skene funding amounts to approximately EUR 70 million.
